Newly appointed members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted last week to no longer recommend thimerosal-containing flu vaccines for all ages and approved clesrovimab for newborns and infants entering their first RSV season.

On June 27, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in Kennedy v. Braidwood Management, upholding the ACA provision that requires most private insurers to cover preventive services recommended by the USPSTF without cost-sharing by patients.

Last week, the U.S. Senate released its budget reconciliation package. Likethe House-passed version, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that,if passed, millions of Americans would lose their health care coverage.
