Sravanthi Parasa, MD, F¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï is a gastroenterologist and clinical researcher at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle whose work focuses on improving patient outcomes through the application of advanced technologies for early cancer detection, risk prediction, and quality improvement in endoscopy.

Her research sits at the intersection of epidemiology, biostatistics, and machine learning, with major contributions in computer vision for endoscopy, natural language processing, and high-fidelity risk prediction models in gastrointestinal disease. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and guidelines in leading medical and computer science journals and has helped shape international standards for the clinical evaluation and implementation of AI in endoscopy.

Within ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï, Dr. Parasa has played a central role in building a modern AI education and translation ecosystem—serving as Vice Chair of the Artificial Intelligence in Gastroenterology Institute (AIGI), Program Director of the AI Scholars Program, and Course Director of the DDW Hands-On AI in GI Workshop—focused on ensuring that emerging technologies are implemented responsibly, rigorously, and in ways that measurably improve patient care.
