At ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï, we appreciate all of our members and member volunteers. We celebrate those who dedicate their time to advancing digestive care through education, advocacy and promotion of excellence and innovation in endoscopy. Explore all of our awards to see how we recognize ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï members for their hard work and dedication to the Society and the profession as a whole.

¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï Diversity Awards

Since 2007, this award recognizes research focused on gastrointestinal diseases in underserved and underrepresented populations. Two $1,000 awards are given to the first authors for abstracts/research relevant to underrepresented populations (i.e., women, racial/ethnic minorities, LGBTQ community).

¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï Honorary Awards

Each year ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï recognizes and presents awards to members who have contributed to the body of knowledge in our profession, to the betterment of our organization and to society as a whole. Honorees are recognized at the ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï Crystal Awards Dinner held annually during DDW.

GIE Publication Awards

Every year at DDW, ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï Leadership, GIE, VideoGIE and iGIE Editors, and members of the Editorial Board and Editorial Review Boards celebrate top reviewers, who are recognized and thanked for their contributions and commitment to the peer review process.

Endowed Lecture Awards

Established by the ¶¶Òô´ó¹Ï Foundation and generous contributions from friends, colleagues, trainees and corporate sponsors, the Endowed Lecture Awards recognize members for their distinguished contributions to the evolution of GI Endoscopy.
